Baptismal Font
Located in the commons area, the St. Columbkille's baptismal font is made
of sand-blasted concrete with running water, symbol of eternal life. The community
greets its new members at the entrance using water from the font. Additionally,
the parishioners renew their baptismal vows each time they enter the church
by using the water to once again witness that they have been baptized in the
name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. |
