The bell rings 5-minutes before all weekday and weekend masses, with the exception of the 6:20 am Mass on Fridays. This ringing is meant to be a "call to worship and prayer". Also played is the Angelus at Noon and 6:00 pm every day. You can also hear the pealing of the bell at weddings and it will toll at funerals.
