Enrollment Information

If you are new to our parish and would like information about enrollment for the 2007-2008 school year, registration, school fees or other administrative issues, please contact  .  The school office phone number is 402-339-8706 (voicemail box 103).

The enrollment/re-enrollment policy of St. Columbkille School states that as a condition of enrollment/re-enrollment each family/child must: agree to abide by all parish and school policies, rules, and procedures; annually participate in the Parish Stewardship process; and annually satisfy and complete all required service hours.

School News

Office hours (7:45 am to 3:30 pm) will resume Tuesday, March 25. Enrollment for new families is being conducted by appointment during the month of March. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment for enrollment, you may call Mrs. Galing in the school office, 339-8706 (voicemail box 103) or e-mail her at vgaling@stcolumbkille.creighton.edu

Happening . . .

Friday, May 9, is Field Day. There will be NO HOT LUNCH. Students will need to bring lunch and a drink from home.

There will be NO SCHOOL Monday, May 12. This is a Staff Development Day.

On Tuesday, May 13, students in kindergarten and 7th grade will be going to Henry Doorly Zoo; students in 4th grade will be going to Lake Zorinsky; students in 5th grade will be launching the rockets they constructed for Science class; and students in 8th grade will be going to the Imax and Papio Fun Park.

There will be a presentation on the Sump Library Summer Reading Program to students in kindergarten through 6th grade on Wednesday, May 14.

Please join us for All School Mass Thursday, May 15, at 8:15 am. Immediately following Mass there will be an awards presentation for the 8th grade students.

Thursday is the last day for kindergarten and 8th grade students - they will be dismissed at 11:15 am.

Kindergarten Graduation will be held at 10 am in the Social Level on Friday, May 16.

Eighth Grade Graduation pictures will be taken at 6 pm in the Social Level Friday, May 16. The Graduation Mass will follow at 7 pm.

Preschool News

We would like to thank all our preschool families for their help and support this year! Whether you walked with us on field trips, baked apple cake, decorated gingerbread houses, planned classroom parties or sent in needed items, we simply couldn’t have done it without you. We wish you and your preschoolers a safe and happy summer. We will miss you!
