provide them a basis with which to:

• understand the “big picture” of salvation history
• understand how the events of the bible fit into a historical timeline
• read scripture with more understanding
• have a greater knowledge of God, Jesus and the Church
• understand the immensity of God’s love, forgiveness and mercy for us
• better understand their Catholic religion
• make them better disciples

Bible Study Format:

Quick and
Complete Versions:

• A Quick Journey through the Bible (Quick Version):
  • An eight week condensed series consisting of:
    • 30 min video presentation by Jeff Cavins and
    • discussion in small faith sharing groups with trained facilitator
  • Suggested Bible passages are read prior to attending the meetings along with limited homework assignments
  • Session times are 90 minutes
  • Ideal study for those with minimal knowledge of Bible
    
• The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation (Complete version):
  • A more detailed 24 week study consisting of:
  • study questions prepared ahead of time from both the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church
  • discussion of the answers to the questions in small faith sharing groups
  • 50 minute audio by Jeff Cavins
  • sessions are 120 minutes

    • $41/person for those who do not have the recent study packs for the Quick Trip Study or a seminar (Study Set Questions and Responses and Bible Timeline Workbook, Chart, Bookmark and Wristband)
    • Each participant will need their own Study Kit
