Parents of students attending the parish school help plan and support school activities throughout the year. Activities include coordinating the school’s fundraiser and helping show appreciation for the teachers. Many of the tasks needed are broken up in areas to make them more manageable. People are needed to help coordinate in many of these areas. Some take a few hours a year and other are extensive for a short period of time.

St. Columbkille's Home & School Association has four primary objectives:

1. Help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideals of Catholic Education.
2. Support the principal, teachers and faculty as they provide formal education.
3. Provide assistance to parents in their role as primary religious educators.
4. Provide a forum for students to perform and to be recognized for their achievements.
