St. Columbkille Athletics

St. Columbkille offers a variety of sports and athletic opportunities and teams to youth of the parish. Intramural and competitive (interscholastic) teams are open to all registered parishioners.

Soccer, intramural volleyball, competitive volleyball, intramural basketball, competitive basketball, track & field, T-Ball, competitive softball, and competitive baseball are currently offered.

Soccer and volleyball are played in the fall. Basketball is played late-fall through winter. Track occurs in the spring. T-Ball, softball and baseball are played spring through midsummer.

Adult volleyball, basketball and softball are also available.

Parent volunteers are welcome to assist as coaches or volunteers. Teams play in parochial athletic leagues, and against local area recreational and select teams. Emphasis for coaches and players is placed on skill development, teamwork, good sportsmanship, academic achievement, and fun. Strong Christian attitudes are reinforced. Subcommittees for each sport are staffed by parishioners and coaches, and assist in directing and monitoring each sport.
