Adult Involvement and Training

National Jamboree 2004 Troop 359 has very active adult volunteers. Troop 359 requires all of its adult leaders to complete adult leader training. Many of our adult leaders have completed the Wood Badge training program.

A number of the adult leaders have been selected as leaders or staff at National Jamborees, University of Scouting Programs, and District and Council training activities. Many of the Assistant Scoutmasters are Eagle Scouts.

All parents are encouraged to become involved in the Scouting program, whether as Troop Committee Members, Troop Officers, Assistant Scoutmasters, Merit Badge Counselors, or by just coming along on Troop outings.
