Theology of the Body
THEOLOGY OF THE BODY: INTO THE HEART
An in-depth study of the teachings of Saint Pope John Paul II. Have you ever wondered…What is the meaning and purpose of your life? What does it mean to be human? How do I find real fulfillment and genuine happiness?
Beginning in September 1979, over the course of five years, Saint Pope John Paul II gave a series of speeches that have come to be known collectively as the Theology of the Body. In a profound and coherent way. he demonstrated to the world that the above questions can be answered by a proper understanding of the human person and that understanding can be obtained through evaluating the human body in light of Sacred Scripture.
Whether you are married or single, your body will make visible to you the answer to the above questions.
Beginning on Monday, September 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the Steinhausen Center, St. Columbkille Parish will present the first in a series of video presentations by Christopher West on this teaching that will continue throughout the Fall until Christmas.
This will be a broader study of Theology of the Body than we did in 2015 and having attended that session is not necessary.
Registration is not required. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Study guides can be ordered at a cost of $15. Please contact Joe or Kristen Klapatch at firstname.lastname@example.org if you desire a study guide.
Further details can be found on the St. Columbkille Parish Blog in the coming weeks.
