O Most Holy Trinity, we praise You and we thank You for bringing us together as one family. Father, we humbly ask to hear Your voice. Guide us in sharing your gift of mercy. Lord Jesus, You call us each by name. Help us to trust in Your teachings as we strive to answer your call. Holy Spirit, let Your peace take root in our hearts. Guide us to be disciples of Christ and faithful stewards of your gifts. Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, may our Saint Columbkille community be a place where all are welcome and can grow in faith, hope and love. We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Where We Are

It was just one year ago that we kicked off the Capital Campaign with lots of prayers and a big goal in mind. In that short time, our parish community has raised over $6M! Your commitment to the future of our parish is truly inspiring!

Work to improve and expand our parish campus is already underway! Phase I has begun with plans to update the Social Hall by expanding and better ventilating the kitchen, putting in new lighting, updating the audio-visual equipment, installing new ceiling tiles, and in general, making the space warmer and more welcoming. Much of this work will be done during the summer months when the space is less in demand.

This spring you will see changes to our parking lot and drop off areas, bringing to completion our previous Pave the Way campaign. This will include new concrete, updates to the landscaping, and better traffic flow. The goal is to have this complete by early fall.

Plans for Phase II – our parish center – have started as well. We are working side-by-side with our architects, engineers, and contractors to break ground on this project as soon as June. A couple weeks ago, we held a meeting to share our plans with those who live around the parish, and we were excited to receive positive feedback from our neighbors

As you know, with projects of this size, some growing pains can be expected. Fortunately, our dedicated project and facilities team is working hard to plan and coordinate the projects in a way that will minimize the impact on our busy community.

We have come further than we would have guessed in a short time, but we’re not done yet. If you haven’t yet donated or pledged to this next part of our parish’s growth, we encourage you to consider doing so as you see progress happening.  Call the Parish Office at 402-339-3285 or fill out a pledge card

Where We're Going

Our parish has begun a three-phase Capital Campaign to improve A/C units and the Social Hall, build a Parish Center and gym, and expand the Narthex of the church. You can watch this video of our Campaign Presentation to learn more about each phase and the campaign itself, or read more in the Campaign Newsletters.

Fr. Dave's letter

Naming opportunities are available for rooms in the new parish center. This could include your family, a loved one, or even a favorite teacher or priest. Families interested in this opportunity can contact Fr. Dave at the parish office, 402-339-3285. A recognition display will be created in the new parish center to serve as a perpetual thank-you to all who sacrificed for this effort.
