Taking our Next Steps

We are on a journey, where God is calling upon each of us to experience a fullness of life that can only be found in an ever deepening relationship with Jesus. With that knowledge, we are embracing our new parish mission statement:

Helping everyone take their next step to be more like Jesus.

Just as we want to be more like those in our life whom we know, love, and admire - our dearest friends and role models - God is inviting every one of us to be more like Jesus. Jesus is someone to know, love, and admire. In Jesus we see humility and generosity, born out of love for His Father and for each person.

Growing closer to Jesus and becoming more like Him is God’s purpose for us, and a life centered on Him is where joy, peace, goodness, and beauty are found. The more we know Jesus and aspire to be like Him, the more we want to share this gift with others by helping them in their journey toward Jesus. God is on our journey with us - there to meet us and invite us forward. Each of us has a next step to take. 

We hope you will join us on our parish community’s journey to grow closer to God personally by taking your next step, but also reaching out to others. The journey begins with a bit of self-reflection to discover the adventure of your own story - to better understand where God is walking with you and where He is inviting you next.
